Mistral Twin Air – Hip Hop 9’6

Mistral Hip Hop is a high-performance inflatable windsurfing board. Thanks to its boosted outline, it has more volume and is significantly more stable than other models, which makes this board perfect for bigger riders. This model is equipped with adjustable foot straps that facilitate planing and wave riding. Although the board is inflatable it is as stiff and durable as regular hard shell equivalents. The board’s rigidity is guaranteed by using the Twin Air Technology which incorporates two narrow air chambers, one on each side of the board. By switching up the chamber layout, Mistral managed to create a much stiffer and safer construction. Additionally, thanks to a special woven-drop stitched material, the board is extremely lightweight. The Hip Hop combines the low weight and compactness of an inflatable board with the stiffness and durability of a hard shell product, creating a very performance-oriented board.

Mistral Twin Air Technology

In a stagnating think-tank of ideas, Mistral has created a unique product and addressed the issue of rigidity and adaptability all within the one design concept. Two individual left and right chambers running the full length of the board, segmented by a unique narrow centre hollow void, constrained by an outer compression-band.
